This is Lu
ca writing, a 32-year-old man born and raised in Italy, who had the chance to travel often and live abroad. The more I explored the world, the more I realized one thing: despite all its challenges, Italy is still the most extraordinary place I’ve ever experienced.
Why I Love Italy
Why?
Because every time I travel through Italy, I fall in love with it again. I see traditions slowly fading, and whenever I stumble upon an old one still alive, I feel the urge to share it. I can’t stand the idea of living in a world that looks the same everywhere, and Italy, fortunately, still doesn’t.
Why Travelers Should Discover Italy Differently
I believe travelers deserve to discover Italy differently.
For decades, Italy has been described through a distorted lens. Many of the stories carried abroad came from people who didn’t really know the depth of this country: limited education, little exposure, and a simplified idea of Italy that no longer matches reality. What the world thinks Italy is… often isn’t Italy anymore.
What I’ll Share From Now On
So from today on, this is my mission:
To show what Italy truly means to me, no clichés, no extravagance. Just real places, real people, real traditions. I’m not an expert or a celebrity. I’m simply someone who deeply cares
about this land and feels called to reveal its lesser-known beauty.
Italy is going through tough times, yes. But its small villages, hidden communities, and authentic corners still hold a magic that most travelers will never see.
And I want to bring you there.
