I was born and raised in Italy.
Since I was a kid, I’ve been lucky enough to travel across much of the Western world. That’s when I realized how incredibly fortunate I was to have been born here.
Italy isn’t just a country known for its beauty or its food—it’s a way of being. A state of mind. It’s the kind of place people long to spend time in, even if they don’t always know why.
As Fellini showed in La Dolce Vita, Italy has always been one of the coolest, most magnetic places to just… be.
When you grow up here, you don’t need to learn how to enjoy life—you just live it differently.
For a long time, though, I lived elsewhere. I was searching for something, not really sure what. Every path I took seemed to lead me away from myself. Something always felt off.
Then one day, it hit me: what I really wanted was to come back.
To return to Italy and see it again with new eyes—and to help others see it the way I do.
That’s why I created Life Spent in Italy. It’s part blog, part personal guide, part video journey. But above all, it’s a love letter to the real Italy.
Not the tourist version, but the one made of quiet villages, honest smiles, messy lunches with local wine, and small producers who create pure magic with their hands.
Here, I share the places I visit, the people I meet, the food I taste, and the stories I collect.
Sometimes you’ll even find those products in the shop, so you can bring a piece of that magic home.
Other times, maybe you’ll feel inspired to pack a bag and see it for yourself.
If you’re into the kind of Italy that isn’t on postcards—if you want slow, real, soul-deep beauty—you’re in the right place.
Come along. I’ll take you there. One step, one story, one plate at a time.
